I did not know Yolanda long! Our husbands are friends and we met on a trip to Greece in 2024! She was not โwellโ BUT she was a trooper! We walked the hills and stairs and streets in Santorini in 90+ degrees and she NEVER quit! She was determined to enjoy every bit of that trip. As I sit today at her funeral I learned that quitting was not in her DNA! She was a wonderful spirit that I wish I had met earlier! Prayers to the Family!!

Yolanda, I just want to genuinely thank you for believing in me and giving me the opportunity to play such a major role in your stage play. That meant more to me than you probably realize. Beyond the opportunity itself, I appreciate the constant words of wisdom, encouragement, and belief youโve poured into me.
You always remind me to keep pushing toward my dreams, even during moments when things may feel uncertain. One thing you said that will always stay with me is that my story matters, that the things Iโve been through could help someone else who may be fighting through similar struggles. That really opened my eyes and made me look at my journey differently.
Thank you for seeing something in me, for speaking life into me, and for encouraging me to lean into my purpose. People like you truly make a difference, and Iโll never forget the support and motivation youโve given me along the way.โ Until we meet again Fly High Queen,
I Love You Forever

Yolanda's beauty came from the inside out. Her smile radiated her generous, warm, kind spirit. Her committee to her creativity was awe-inspiring and her dedication to excellence in the craft before her served as proof of her connection to God. Where she shone brightest was within the space of her family. She lifted motherhood as her greatest calling and being a wife as her blessing.
Thanking God for grace, mercy, love and eternal peace.

My deepest condolences to Yolandaโs husband, children, family, friends, and all who loved her.
I had the privilege of meeting Yolanda in 2024 when I served as stage manager for the play Tales of a Grown Girlย in Brooklyn through a collaboration with David Q. What an incredible experience it was to work alongside her, the cast, and the crew.
Yolanda was truly professional, focused, and gifted at what she did. She always carried herself with kindness, grace, and warmth both on and off the stage. She knew exactly what she wanted, and she worked with excellence while still making everyone around her feel welcomed and appreciated.
I am grateful that God allowed our paths to cross and that I had the opportunity to know and work with her. Her presence, her spirit, and her impact will truly be missed.
My prayers are with her husband, her children, and the entire family during this difficult time. I pray that God will strengthen you, comfort you, and surround you with His peace and love in the days ahead.
